'The extensional void that haunts the soul of a modern man.'

This work is the embodiment of feelings caused by depression and how to hide these emotions from others. The ever-growing nature of depression causes feelings of heavy wait that engulfs one daily. This feeling is physically in the sculpture. We push those away from how we truly feel in fear of hurting ones we love; this is represented through the nails acting almost as an emotional defence. The metal wire in this piece represents 'holding yourself together' and how it can be only a temporarily fix rather than a long-term solution.
